Aimee loves to paint exuberant kids, rib-tickling animals, and enchanting places! Her unique and energetic illustrations burst with radiant color and an unmistakable sense of motion. Specializing in children’s illustration and editorial artwork, Aimee uses acrylic paint, watercolor, ink, cut paper, and digital media. Some of her recent clients include Spider magazine, Babybug magazine, Microcosm Publishing, and the Children’s Theatre Company. Aimee is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Before studying illustration at the highly regarded Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Aimee managed a women’s shelter, taught English, worked as a grant writer, and dreamed about doing what she does today. She lives in beautiful Northfield, Minnesota with her husband and their small daughter. home
